TWIN BORO FLAG FOOTBALL
The Flag Football Program is built for fun. Boys and girls in grades Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade will learn the basics of the game, including first downs, touchdowns, and simple positions.
Flag Football is non-contact, and all players are equipped with a flag belt. When a flag is pulled, the play is over. No tackling, no contact.
Depending on the level, practices may be once or twice a week, with games played locally on Friday night and Saturday morning.
At the flag level, all players are encouraged to play all positions, and learn the fundamental rules of football.
Depending on the size of the roster, K, 1st and 2nd graders will play competitive games against other New Jersey Teams. Otherwise, all games are 5 on 5 intra-squad games.
All Pre-K practices and intrasquad games will be on Saturday mornings.
Parents who are interested in coaching, are encouraged to select the appropriate box during the registration process.
